The KALWOL 4-in-1 is a handle-free walking pad for home workers and walkers who want a low noise figure and app support in one compact unit. KALWOL quotes 40 dB or less from its 2.75 HP brushless motor, one of the quietest claims in the category. A built-in speaker, Zwift and Kinomap compatibility and a 10% incline round it out, all on a pad that folds flat for under-desk storage.

In its favour
- A 100 x 40 cm belt on a frame only 116 cm long, a good ratio of walking room to footprint.
- The 160 kg user limit is the highest of the compact pads in this guide.
- The maker quotes 40 dB or less from the brushless 2.75 HP motor, useful in a shared room.
Good to know
- The spec sheet lists 24.3 kg, heavier than the Urevo pads if you move it every day.
- The incline is manual, so you set it before walking rather than changing it mid-session.
Our take
Speed, incline and programmes
Speeds run from 0.6 to 6.2 mph, which is about 1 to 10 km/h. KALWOL describes four uses: a slow work mode, casual walking, steady jogging and brisk running. Without a handle, the faster end is better suited to light jogging than proper runs.
The incline is manual and reaches 10%, and the listing says it adjusts in a second without screws. Twelve HIIT programmes and three countdown modes for time, distance and calories are built in.
Belt, cushioning and capacity
The running belt is 100 x 40 cm and sits on 10 shock-absorbing columns. The maximum user weight is 160 kg. The pad itself weighs 24.3 kg according to the spec table, though a bullet mentions 20 kg, and it measures 116 x 48.5 x 11.5 cm.
Transport wheels are fitted at the base, and the listed folded size is 120 x 51 cm.
Connectivity and controls
KALWOL lists FitShow, Kinomap and Zwift as compatible apps for tracking, challenges and virtual routes. The built-in speaker is a rarity on walking pads. An LED display shows speed, time, distance and calories, and the remote has one-click mute, which helps in a shared office. The spec table marks it as needing no assembly, so it should be ready to walk on soon after unboxing.
Against the KALWOL 6-in-1 and FOUSAE 5-in-1
The KALWOL 6-in-1 is the same idea with a fold-down handle and a 12 km/h top speed, but the spec table says it needs assembly. The FOUSAE 5-in-1 also adds a fold-down handle, reaches 12 km/h and quotes under 40 dB with the same 160 kg limit, so it is the one to consider if you want to run.
Verdict
Buy the KALWOL 4-in-1 if you mainly walk at a desk, want quiet running, a built-in speaker and app support, and do not need a handle. Runners and anyone who wants a handhold should look at the KALWOL 6-in-1 or the FOUSAE 5-in-1, and those wanting a powered incline should compare the UREVO CyberPad.
